Ethel is a female, Miniature Dachshund
Approx 6 years old
Foster in Cumbria, near Carlisle
Ethel is a very sweet little girl. She has been in our care a little while now. She unfortunately had an infection in her uterus and took a little while for her to get over this. The infection triggered Addisons. Ethel received steroid treatment and amazingly has completely recovered needing no medication at all. She obviously gained a lot of weight with the steroids, this is now slowly coming off and she will need to continue to slowly lose the extra weight.
Ethel loves her person and doesn't like to be alone. She is a gentle soul who has just started to initiate play, Ethel is looking for a home with at least one other gentle small dog.
She does need reminding about her toilet training to begin with. Ethel is a home body who loves to be curled up in front of the fire.
